About This Series: Who Is Doing What?
River pollution in India is not a problem without people working on it. Hundreds of organisations — from constitutional bodies to grassroots collectives — are actively monitoring, litigating, researching, and cleaning. Knowing who they are, what they do, and how they overlap is essential for anyone wanting to engage seriously with the issue.
This section is a reference map, not a directory. Each entry explains an organisation’s role, scope, and relevance — so you can understand the ecosystem, not just collect links.
