- Zone management — dividing a stretch into workable zones, assigning leads, and maintaining communication.
- Managing mixed skill levels — pairing experienced volunteers with first-timers; adapting tasks on the ground.
- Incident protocol — what to do if someone is injured, finds hazardous waste, or encounters aggressive behaviour.
- Closing the drive — waste handover, headcount, debrief structure, and documentation.
- Post-drive reporting — what to record, who to share it with, and how to submit to Nadikosh or your NGO.
